Bucks Dragon Boat is proud to announce the inauguration of the Laurie McHugh “Be the Blue” Award. Launching for the 2026 season, this prestigious honor commemorates the legacy of our co-founder, Laurie McHugh, who passed away in 2023. Laurie was more than a leader; she was the heartbeat of our club, a shining star and a beloved figure within the dragon boat community. And we are thrilled to create this amazing honor in Laurie’s memory.

The inaugural recipients of the Laurie McHugh “Be the Blue” Award will be announced at the conclusion of the 2026 season.
